Here at Catalina Cat Boarding, we are very concerned for the safety and wellbeing of your cat/s while
they stay with us. The cats are all cared for by the veterinary nurses at Rathmines Vet, and they are trained to pick up on any potential health problems and make your cats' stay as safe and pleasant as possible

Cat Care:
- Cats are all kept individually to reduce stress, eliminate the chance of fights and minimize the risk of cat flu transfer.
- Their runs, beds, litter trays, bedding and bowls are all cleaned daily, and are all disinfected before each cat uses them.
- We use a Feliway diffuser which helps them feel more comfortable and relaxed during their stay. It is not a sedative.
- Any differences in health and behaviour such as inappetance, excessive drinking, behavioural changes, urination/defacation issues & lethargy are montitored carefully by the vet nurses who care for the cats.

Accomodation
While your cat/s board with us, they are provided with:
- a bed (or a box for shy kitties) with a soft & fluffy sheepskin blanket
- real kitty litter (Breeders Choice) which is changed daily or more often if needed!
- food & water
- air conditioning for hot days and under-floor heating for cold nights.

- Each cat has access to it's own run with a 4 level climbing perch
- The cats are let out individually each day, both while their runs are being cleaned and during the afternoon for exercise, entertainment, brushing and tummy rubs!
- Deluxe accomodation is available, these are much larger runs for more active cats, long-term boarders or cats from the same family who are boarding together.

What are they fed?
We feed all cats on ADVANCE Super Premium food and there is a range of different formulas to suit their individual needs (Weight Control, Kitten, Senior, etc).
Even the fussiest of cats will love it!

We will of course feed Veterinary Prescribed diets, like Hills or Royal Canin, so please bring them along.

What do I need to bring?
- Vaccination Certificate - we require your cat to be vaccinated within the last 12 months for an F3.
If they haven't been done, they will need to be vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to admission.
- Medication: Please bring these in the original dispensed pack that has your cats name & dosage information on it.
If your cat is a diabetic then please bring their insulin, we will use our needles.
- Secure Carry Cage - Please bring your cat in a cage, we can store these safely until you return.
- Feel free to bring your cats favourite toys and treats in with them!
-We supply all their blankets, beds and fluffy sheepskin bedding.
